Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run© is a non-profit prevention program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. It is a life-changing, experiential learning program that address’ all aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual well-being. The programs combine training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts with hopes of reducing the potential display of at-risk activities among its participants

With the help of donations, volunteers, educational seminars, and an enthusiastic approach, the American Heart Association is on its way to beating heart disease and stroke.
