mchair launches new web site

2011 has been a year of many new beginnings and exciting changes for both myself and the salon! I am so excited to be launching this new website! It has been a long process but I am so happy with the outcome. I hope you will take a moment to browse our new site and check out all of the new features available to you-- I'm still learning about many of them!
Isn't it crazy to think that we did, once-upon-a-time, survived without the Internet! I have to admit I've become a bit of an Internet junkie between developing this new site, keeping up with my own personal Facebook page as well as the salon's, hopping on the tweetdeck that is Twitter (haven't quite figured that one out yet), and finally mastering the art of balancing two BlackBerries! My kids make fun of me all the time for my failing attempts at keeping up with them when it comes to technology. I have to remind my dear children that when I was growing up there were no personal computers, gaming systems, iPods, or HDTV's, so it is a bit more challenging for me to grasp onto all of the technology so quickly! I also feel that just when I get the hang of things, a new, better version comes out and I have to start all over again! My kids and many of the salon team members have really helped me in understanding the in's and out's of technology and for that I am truly grateful!
At the end of the day, technology is about making our lives easier and more convenient. Our website is completely dedicated to you, we hope you enjoy all of the new features on this website and that it makes your life a little more convenient! We hope our site proves to be a very enjoyable, helpful, and frustration-free experience!
We would love to hear your feedback on our new site! Please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with any comments, suggestions, and/or questions about our new site!
Happy browsing!

It’s that awkward in-between seasons time of year again. Since the groundhog saw its shadow, we’re all stuck again. We’re tired of wearing the deep, rich hues of fall, yet we aren’t ready to jump into our spring wardrobe because we’re restrained by the necessity of winter weather apparel. I have found a simple, cost-conscience solution to your winter-woes. Shop your closet!I have found that revisiting your closet during these dire times is the perfect way to bring spring back into your wardrobe while still dressing weather appropriate. Spend time reorganizing your closet and bringing out colors from past seasons. I recently organized my wardrobe based on color, making it easy to put pieces from different seasons together in unique combinations. I encourage you to get through the dreary days of winter with a few spring pieces, intermix bright colors with darker colored accessories. Have fun rediscovering pieces from seasons ago, place them alongside the sweater you have worn all winter; combine pieces you wouldn’t usually wear together. It’s not about what you buy; it’s about rearranging what you have. Accessorize with fun, chunky jewelry or a colorful scarf to keep you warm while you wait for the first spring sighting!

Typically, I do not blog about one of our great salon services, however, I feel that the emotional and physical transformation hair color can offer to your life is definitely worth blogging about! I always find it amazing how big of a difference a slight hair color change can make. Whether you are just looking to give your hair a little more life with an enriched hue of your natural color or, if you’re like my daughter, and want to rebel with an all-over color change; coloring your hair can give you a whole new look.
